For many families in Contra Costa County, the holidays can be a difficult time. Parents facing financial hardship may struggle to provide meals or gifts, and seniors or foster youth can feel forgotten during a season meant for togetherness. VESTIA’s Holiday Helpers Program continues to bring hope and compassion to those who need it most though the way we deliver that support has evolved.

While we no longer provide gifts directly to individual families, we now partner with organizations that have the resources and infrastructure to reach even more people in need. Through the dedication of the VESTIA Board of Directors and our Volunteer & Emergency Services team, Holiday Helpers proudly supports community partners that carry on the spirit of our original program, spreading joy, dignity, and care throughout Contra Costa County.

By supporting these organizations, Holiday Helpers continues its long-standing mission of bringing comfort and holiday cheer to vulnerable residents, children in foster care, families experiencing financial hardship, and seniors in need. Instead of traditional gifts, contributions to Holiday Helpers help provide essentials, holiday joy, and a powerful reminder that the community cares.
